Most newbies tend to think that an army of 12 BattleCruisers/Carriers will make them win, well, they are REALLY REALLY WRONG!! I'll tell you why.

Those 2 Big Ships take a lot of resources, time and supplies to be built, the key to beat them, is to do smarter things with your money, I mean, build the right units to beat them.

Ok, let's check what we have first:

Dragoon: Very good against the big ships, specially when Fully Upgraded and with the Singularity Charge upgrade. Try grouping them for best results.

High Templar: It's a very good idea to Psi Storm BattleCruisers & Carriers, because they're slow, and will lose a lot of HP. You could also Hallucinate them to create a diversion. (Just remember that hallucinated Carriers don't shoot Interceptors)

Archon: This guys are good, they're tough and will last a while in the battlefield, just remember not to let them fight alone, they cost a load of Vespene Gas.

Dark Archon: Mind Control might be a good idea if you see your enemy is outnumbering you, you could also Feedback BattleCruisers, they can lose up to 250 HP (half of their total HP).

Scout: Very, very good, specially when upgraded, plus, they have a big amount of Shields/HP, groups of 4 take down a BattleCruiser in seconds.

Carriers: Good only if you overpower your enemy, be aware of BattleCruisers using Yamato and Science Vessels, remember to upgrade them (specially the weapons) also, they kinda suck against BattleCruisers.

Corsair: Avoid using them against big ships with heavy armors, unless you have a load of them ;)
